The Moebius project consists of two elliptically shaped towers, erected in the heart of the Brussels business district. Entirely passive, these two towers were designed to allow the natural daylight to come flooding in courtesy of their sweeping panoramic outlook.

For this project, ANBICO supplied and handled:

  • approx. 20,000 m² in raised flooring.

To further enhance the quality of the construction, it was decided to add a roof esplanade, clad in a hexagonal steel sheet with a quadruple fold surround that stands taller than the actual esplanade surface.

Why opt for a quadruple fold?

  • It strengthens the upper sheeting;
  • It prevents edge lift and is resistant to edge chafing during installation, removal and refitting;
  • It offers better CLASS 1 dimensional stability for the esplanade and very precise calibration;
  • It also offers better resistance to CLASS 4 point loads;
  • It ensures the esplanade’s solidity without any risk of breakage;
  • It allows for 100% FSC timber products to be used;
  • It yields an esplanade that is recognised for its solidity and is frequently used in some of the most prestigious construction sites in Belgium.
